P.S. I'm kind of making fun of this scene. Sorry if this offends anyone... my comments are easily seen in the [] brackets. ^_^
Utena's just come to a resolution between her and Touga, and walks up the stairs to the dueling grounds where Anthy waits. Anthy tells her that she is the prince of this world, and eternity, miracles, and wishes will come true. She summons the Sword of Dios, but Utena refuses it, saying, "Let's go to the outside world." She pulls Anthy off, until something explodes from the ground...
This strange object is full of whirling bristles. Above, a light blinks on. "Wash."
Utena is pulled inside the, uh, car wash. Anthy grabs tightly onto her hand, not wanting to let go. The struggle is a loosing one, and Utena implores Anthy to try and escape, to run to the outside world, but Anthy says she can't.
Their grip loosens until Utena is sucked inside the machine. Anthy is thrown backwards by the force, holding onto Utena's rose signet.
Anthy slowly sits up and stares at the, erm, car wash, in shock, unable to believe what's happening before her very eyes. [Audience probably feels the same way.]
The song, Zettai Unmei Mokushiroku - Adolescence of UTENA begins to play as a computer screen lights up with lots of wierd symbols. [Doesn't it remind you of some Star Trek screen?]
Red cylinders slide down tubes and lock into position.
A bunch of metal gates turn 90 degrees and slide down into place as well.
Outside, rose petals fly into the sky, blown by the force of all the whirling brushes, while Anthy watches in shock. [The audience is probably feeling exactly the same.]
