* The remains of the Utena car - mostly the wheels and a few pipes connecting them and an exhaust pipe - and Utena and Anthy travel down the road. Along the side are the broken remains of the Locust/Beezelbub cars.
* Utena and Anthy are naked, lying down side by side on the car. Utena says that she knows why Anthy was drawn to her and why she didn't push her away. It was because they were both responsible for the death of their princes.
* Anthy says she remembers now. They were both born in the outside world. Utena then says they are returning to their homeland.
* We see Wakaba walking around the school with the friend she met in the art class. It appears that little has changed in Ohtori.
* E-ko and F-ko say that if there are no paths for you to follow, you can always make new ones.
* The outline of Ohtori Academy disappears into the distance.
* The shadow of a castle - the one in the background in Utena's flashback of Touga - appears in the distance.
* The sun shines in a blue sky as rose petals fly across the scene.
