* Synopsis *

This is a spoiler-filled synopsis, broken down into the parts delineated by both the program guide and the script in the Newtype Illustration Film book. For a different and more detailed synopsis, Utena.Net has one on their site along with a few other articles on the movie.

* Part A * The opening scenes of the movie, introducing most of the main characters, up the duel with Saionji.

* Part B * What Utena does after the duel, trying to learn about the rose signet. Shiori is introduced to the story and lays out her plots.

* Part C * Utena and Anthy have their meeting on the dueling platform and the aftermath. Juri duels with Utena and information on Dios/Akio and Anthy are revealed. Utena confronts her past with Touga.

* Part D * Utena meets up with Anthy on the dueling platform again and decide to escape to the outside world. Utena is turned into a car which Anthy has the key for. The battle between the Utena car and the Shiori car, Locust/Beezelbub cars, the Castle cars, and finally between Utena/Anthy and Akio is fought.

* Part E * The aftermath, the conclusion, and the closing credits.
