And now, the standard disclaimers go here. Shoujo Kakumei Utena (Revolutionary Girl Utena) was created by Chiho Saito, first serialized and published in Flower Comics. Anime created by Chiho Saito/Kunihiko Ikuhara/BePapas, Star Child, etc. Anime rights in North America are held by Central Park Media (Software Sculptors) and manga rights are held by Viz Comics (Animerica). Meaning that I didn't create any of the characters, story, and so on and so forth. This site made by a fan for fans, and is not for profit. (If this was for profit and I got a fat check for it, this site would have a lot better design and information, belive me.)
Bara no Unmei website planned and designed by me and is (c) 2000 to Ming-Ling. All images were created in Photoshop 5.0 by me. Anime images were either screencapped by me or scanned in from some merchandise of mine. Do not use any of the images on these pages without my prior written consent (ie, email) - and do not use any of the graphics on these pages (especially not the Kage OS logo!) at all. Wallpapers and winamp skins may not be posted on your site unless you ask me nicely. Also, the scans of the program book are for display on this site only so I will not grant requests to post them elsewhere. HTML and layout scratched together using the all-purpose and mighty Notepad, Javascript courtesy of C|Net's Builder.Com Mouseover machine. Please, I spent lots of time making the images, scanning them in, and coding the html, so be courteous!
The title Bara no Unmei ~ Rose Destiny came from the lyrics of the song, Toki ni Ai wa. The first line goes, "This rose is our destiny". It was eventually shortened to Rose Destiny, which translates back to "Bara no Unmei".
This page is suitable for mature audiences, because it does deal with some adult situations. I don't know the rating of the television series or movie, but due to mature situations and, yes, some nudity, in both, it would rank a little higher than a 13-up from me. This site is fairly clean, but I don't skirt around the issues - in fact, I have written a full article on nudity and included one picture in that article. If this disturbs you in any way, I invite you to try another site.
