Kaoru Miki is the youngest of the student council members and the least self-assured. He constantly struggles with the demands of his twin sister and the demands of being a duelist.
Miki, or "Micky-kun" as the girls of Ohtori are fond of calling him, is a genius. He's only in middle school and yet he's taking college-level classes. He also plays the piano, although he's never seen sitting at the instrament in the movie. Lastly, he's a member of the fencing club as well as the student council, and is determined not to loose to anyone.
When we first see Miki dueling with Juri, he's a calm, self-assured individual. Although he looses, he tells Juri that he'll win next time, although Juri says he's better off playing the piano. He also has a twin sister named Kozue who demands much of his time and attention. She's jealous of anyone or anything that takes her brother's attention away from her. He tells her that they cannot go back to the time they played in the garden together, and her response is to hold a razor to his throat, calling him a traitor.
Miki is a duelist because he wants the power to become stronger. However, he's still a quiet person who's fairly shy and rather confused. His expression when Juri playfully flirts with him in the garage ("This conversation isn't very interesting, is it?") is quite adorable and his surprise underlines his character.
There is also the rubber duckie. In the scene where he is with Kozue, there is a rubber duck in the bathtub, which falls out (along with some of the bathwater) when Kozue holds the razor to Miki's throat. The duckie also appears in the garage. A red beam of light turns on as the two duelists walk in and scans them. They notice the faint image of Dios which turns to look at them and disappears. Then we see the duckie in a pool of red light as Miki says he wants the power to be stronger - perhaps so he can break the restricting ties that Kozue has put around him.
Miki does not duel Utena in the movie, likely due to time constraints and stuff like that, and gets about as much character development as Saionji (which is to say, unfortunately not much.)
