* Past Layouts *
Hello there. Wondering what other looks Bara no Unmei has sported in the past? Well, here's the layouts archive. Actually, it's more for my benefit so I can keep track of what's going on here, heh heh heh... Anyways, newest layouts are at the top. Right now this site's still pretty new so there aren't too many... but if you've looked at my other sites you'll realize I change layouts a LOT. ^_^
Valentine's Day Version * Past Loves

Well, for a change I had a small Valentine's Day Layout. It only affected the splash page and was originally a design I created for an Utena wallpaper. With some altering it made a cute image to greet visitors on heart's day, and featured the photograph of Utena and Touga in the starry frame.
Current Version * 2.0 * Kage OS
Date: 11/00
Kage OS is the current layout! Yay! The inspiration came when... er, actually, I dunno when inspiration hit me, but it must have left a pretty good impression. Kage OS is based on the Shadow Girls' command center when they're helping Anthy and Utena flee to the outside world. Their interface is similar to the splash page and it's orange and yellow. Hence the colors orange and yellow. It's hard on the eyes a bit, I know, but it's a refreshing change from all those pink Utena sites, isn't it? Fonts used are Electrharmonix and OCR Extended for Katakanaish feel and for the cyberpunkish computer feel.
Version 1.5: I want to Fly
Date: 10/00 - Never Launched
This was a layout I designed that never launched. It also had the dubious accomplishment that it was the first time I've used frames in at least three years. Sigh. I personally don't like frames all that much, although I've seen places where they've been used exceptionally - I just can't manage to integrate them into my designs well. It was also going to be the first of my layouts to use pop-ups for the main window which was a fixed size. Sigh... Good ideas that just didn't quite work out... Anyways, the scrolly mouseover thing also bugged the heck out of me because it was hard to double check my info - I'd change one thing, refresh, and have to scroll all over, just to find more mistakes and have to start over. I only managed to get through the views/opinions/impressions page and part of the character page before giving up on it... Fonts used included Fontdiner Sparkly, which is just really damn cool, okay?
Version 1.0: Rose Frames
Date: 6/00 - 10/00
Aaaaah, the first layout of Bara no Unmei. Isn't it special? Okay, so it is to me. I had quite a few good comments on it despite it's simplicity. The roses were the main part of the layout, which I made using Photoshop paths, and they came out suprisingly well. Then I sort of went crazy with the inner bevel effect and poof, here we have Rose Frame layout! The bevel effect went on to terrorize most of the images giving them cool framed effects, but unfortuantely I didn't save un-beveled images for the image gallery... so now there's red-framed images on an orange layout. -_-;; I feel stupid now. Anyways, This layout was really awesome except the font was too big and the borders took up too much space, meaning the content was really really squished in the middle. Oh well. Fonts used included French Script, a favorite of mine. Funky kanji was made with PMingLiu and lots of nifty filters.
