Lina and Tasuki Battle it Out!

Side Story 1

Brief Introduction:

I was talking with Jani-chan while working on episode 21 (she gave me some good ideas for it, too.) Unfortunately, our conversation degraded into a random episode of Lina vs Tasuki... kind of. Anyways, it's silly and funny, so I thought I'd post it.

Blue comments are mine; Red comments are from Jani-chan.

Yay! Splitting up!! oooh. Tasuki can get mad b/c lina;s power is fire too. (he no longer holds a monopoly on fire and must use the cournot model . . . yeah, anyway)

Tasuki won't be there when she uses it for the first time.

But he'll find out

Yes, that's true. ::Lina and Tasuki glared at each other, sparks visibly flying between the two, fangs bared. "FLARE ARROW!" "LEKKA SHINEN!"

::There was a large explosion. "Oops," said Lina. "I forgot how destructive that spell was."

::Burnt Tasuki yelled back at her, "WHAT IN THE ^*&^$@! WORLD WAS THAT?!!?"

::Tamahome smiled. "A taste of your own medicine."

::Tasuki scowled, "Obake-chan."

::The symbol for 'oni' flashed on Tamahome's head. "What was that?"

::Tasuki got a sweatdrop. "Oh, nothing," he said in a singsong voice, obviously lying.

::Chichiri raised an eyebrow. "Um, no da.... Can we get going now, na no da?"

Lina starts to get annoyed

::"Obake-chan" said Tasuki in a VERY quiet voice.

(can lina and taski both firball tama?)

::Chichiri got a sweatdrop. "Aiyah, na no da," he sighed. "We'll never get anywhere with THIS crew, na no da." (sure, do whatever you want! It's impro!)

"...ball" Lina's fireball whizzed past Taski's ear and intp the water. Everyone turned. Her eyes glowed in anger and narrowed. "That was a warning shot."

::"Oh yeah?!" Tasuki stuck her tongue out at her and folded his arms across his chest, halisen held lightly. "I bet you couldn't hit the far side of the barn!"

HIS tongue.

Lina was in no mood for this. Burning with rage, she began her incantation.

Chichiri wisely refrained from saying. "excusae me, no da."

::"UWAAAAAH!" Gourry screamed loudly as he read this in the Shijitenchiso. "She's gonna use that overkill dragon spell...again!"

::"Did you say something?" Chiriko wondered. "Who screamed?"

Lina's concentration was interrupted by Gourry's scream. She immediately ignored the situation to happily talk to he partner.

"airhead!" she yelled.

::"Wh..what was that? Lina?! Is that you??"

"Ne, Lina . . . " Nuriko interhected.

::"Um..." came Gourry's voice. "What would that be?"

Lina smasjed Nuriko with her fist, sending him flying. "No one."

::"Um..." said Gourry. "Okay." It was better not to argue with Lina, this he knew from long experience.

::"This is going nowhere fast," said Tasuki, sliding the fan back in its sheath across his back.

Unfortunately, at this moment, Tamahome decided to ignore Lina and return to tormenting the bandit.

::He snuck up on Tasuki and very neatly picked the halisen out of its sheath. "Okane!" he said bubbily, waving the fan around. "I can sell this and get rich!"

At this point Microsoft Word happily froze on me, so after restarting, we didn't return to this topic of conversation...
