Afterword

Well... It's been quite a ride, hasn't it? I'm a bit speechless. I can't believe it's over. This fic has been my project, my baby, for 9 months. I started writing in in August 1999 because I still had summer vacation, only a part-time job, and too much time on my hands. It was a small idea at first, and I never imagined that today, April 20, 2000, I would finish it. It's 146 pages formatted in Microsoft Word - probably more if you just use the raw text files. It's my longest project to day, easily surpassing my Redwall fanfiction Martin Reborn by 46 pages.

What can I say? ::arrow over head reads: Still in denial:: It can't be done! It can't be!! What will I write now! How will I procrastinate all my homework and papers and studying for midterms?! ::arrow over head reads: And this is a bad thing?::

Anyways... I wish to thank all my friends for their support - both IRL, in the anime club, my friends from high school, and friends from college, as well as online in emails, IRC, etc. And of course, I thank you, the reader. When you write a story, you write it not just for yourself. You write it so others can read it. At least, I do.

Congratulations! You just survived tears and heartaches, comedy and drama, action, adventure, and everything else! Like I said, it's been quite a ride.

I have two projects in mind to work on after I polish of Slayers FUSHIGI, do the grammar and spell checking, etc. One is Slayers LEGEND, a fanfic idea which takes place in the Slayers' future. I've been toying with the idea for a while. Lina seals the Giga Slave because it's too dangerous. But what if the Giga Slave is the only way to save the world? What if the seal is broken? That's the main theme behind Slayers LEGEND. My other project is Legacy. I'm taking my 4-year-old Redwall fanfiction, Martin Reborn and planning on turning it into an entirely new story based on my own world.

Fear not! There will always be adventures to enjoy, fics to read, and stories to find.
