There are also a number of short stories that Tachibana has written and drawn that often get included in the end of certain volumes in order to fill them out. Some of them include:
Reanimation: Included with Maboroshi Yori Utsutsuna
In Reanimation, a young boy, Fred Tanner, is badly wounded and dying. He sees images and memories of his friend, Christopher (Chris) Anderson, and apologizes for not being able to stay by his side. Suddenly, Fred wakes up and realizes he's still alive, and sees Chris watching him. Except that it's not Chris at all, but Chris' son! Chris is now 32 and his son, Ralph, is 14, while Fred remains 15! Apprently Chris was doing research and managed to save Fred's life, but not as speedily as Fred could have wished. Fred is still confused since Ralph looks a lot like Chris and when some thugs break into the lab and try to kidnap Ralph, Fred fights them off, saying that he'll protect Chris. Suddenly a weapon shoots out of his hand (think Wolverine from X-men) and scares off the thugs. Fred is baffled, but this is also apparently part of Chris' research which he continued from this father's work. Chris asks Fred to protect Ralph and Fred agrees.
Yuda: Included with Letort
This story apparently takes place in the same universe as the Ca Bine series although in one of the other countries on the Aberio continent.
Emut: Included with Dark Craibe volume 1
This is another story that apparently takes place in the same universe as the Ca Bine series, although this one takes place in the country of Ramez, which is at the southern tip of the continent, and details the story of a king's struggle with his mirror-twin.
