Maboroshii Yori Utsutsuna is Tachibana's debut work. It consists of 5 stories focusing on 3 dream demons: Sagi, his older sister Kouki, and their friend Yama. They enter people's dreams and try make them happy, although sometimes this doesn't always work. The first 4 stories were published in Movic, the first story appearing in December of 1988 and the last in March of 1991. The fifth story was drawn especially for the compilation. There is also an unrelated short story, Reanimation at the end.
The volume was published on 7/26/1998 by Gakken Comics and the ISBN number is 4-05-601937-1. It includes the stories:

2) Kouki (Red Demon)
3) Akumu (Nightmare)
4) Oyako (Parent and child)
5) Daitai (Substitute)
