11/11/99
Added my Tama-Neko winamp skin under the fun/computer goodies section. Enjoy. If I get good reviews of it (hah, not likely since it's my first), I might try making others... Also shrank font size a little, since Verdana is a little on the big size for it's points, and fixed the side menu a little.

Got some programs, so I've added a Tama-Neko screensaver to the computer goodies section as well as Seimei's kawaii icons. Expect more icons, startup/shutdown screens, and a desktop theme in the near future. Also added the red feather design set which was the basis for the new format here. Fixed Neko.Pics to match rest of the page. (Sorry, no new pics. Scanner doesn't fit in a dorm room.)

Another update. Always a good thing. What's new? New images, for one thing. Lots of colorful feathers. Moved menu bar to side. Made new banner images to fit feathery theme. Changed Neko.Fan to Neko.Fun, because it had more than just fanfics/fanart there. Now there's two new sections: Awards and computer goodies. Added two wallpapers I made and Seimei's neko icons (thanks Seimei!). Once I can find a good screensaver utility and icon creator, I'll make an entire Tama-Neko desktop theme. Wai!
Anyways, that's about it, except for the really cruddy feature, since I was on a sugar high the time I wrote it and, um, I really need a DECENT idea for a feature now.
Sigh... I think I'll go bug some friends for Cowboy Bebop now.
(I have the greatest urge to make a site for poor Ein, I mean, that dog is so abused... I saw episode 7 the other day (dubbed? SIGH!) and they fed him bean sprouts. I was one of maybe five people laughing at that, I think the other people thought it was horrible, but I couldn't get the image of Faye chowing down in Ein's dog food out of my head...)

A little bit new information, mostly facial changes. Changed the index page to have a much nicer splash screen, aka phun with photoshop after post-midterm depression. Been applying to some awards lately... and I just got two from ChichiriDA! Thanks! I've also moved the awards to the fan page ... for lack of better place to put them ... Added a few new links, another webring, and whatnot. Edited the information on the info page, some of it wasn't entirely accurate.
I still need an idea for a current feature... sigh... brain freeze... what's an integral? Is this on the midterm? It is? Oh... gee...I didn't know that… ^_^ ;

Added six new manga pictures to the picture gallery and a colored manga scan to the fan page. Also added a few new ideas for telling if your cat is Tama-Neko. I'm part of another webring - Ring of Neko, appropriately enough. Also did some more fixing of bugs and suchlike, minor editing of information, etc, and so forth.
This page won the Nuriko's Pick award! And Princess Nishi's Award of Beauty Wai! Wai! Arigatou, TGOPS and Nishi!
P.S. I need an idea for a new feature!

I scanned in a ton of new manga pictures. The picture gallery's up to 63 total, 50 of them manga scans. Also added ChichiriDA's Chichiri/Tama-Neko soundbyte to the fan section (for lack of better place to put it.) Put webrings in the links section. There's also a new current feature due to the new manga scans - evolution of art, a look at how Tama-Neko's changed his appearance in Fushigi Yuugi.

Another update! SUGOI! And I got it in under the month mark! Wahoo! Okay, another update, another design change. I hope you like it! Someone remarked in my guestbook that my site wasn't very colorful. Well, now it is! I hope to actually stick with this design for the time being and just update content, but I'm just going to play it by ear.
With the design change comes some information update and change. You'll find new content just about everywhere.

V3, which sponsered the welcome.to/ address, has started a policy of pop-up ads in exchange for their services. I do not want pop-up ads. This page is ad-free. I like it that way. I'd rather have keep my old address than have a welcome.to addy if there's a pop-up banner. (Sorry. I'm very firm in my stance on this.) Because of this, I've taken down the welcome.to/ banner image, and I tossed out the animated banner, which was of terribly inferior quality.
I've reset my counter to count visitors as of 8/30 and this new format. Previously it reached over 1,100 visits.

Sheesh, I'm so late in updating it's not even funny. So much for that once a month thing. School ran me overtime and then I got caught up with other stuff. I did manage to update my main page a few weeks ago, but only now did I find time to actually get down to work on Neko.Net. Sorry!
Okay, I redid the layout again, and I'm likely to keep doing that every update, so, um, that's why it looks so different. [sweatdrop] I added new manga pictures since I've got almost all the books now, except 5 and 6 (which I'll probably get soon). Also updated Information, and Tour (adding a mature content warning for the series), Me [sweatdrop], and I think that's it.
Oh yeah! I also got a V3 URL, so I'm not only here at members.limitless.org/~mingling/neko.net/, I'm also here at http://welcome.to/neko.net/, which is a heck of a lot easier to type! There's no need to change links or bookmarks, since it's redirected to members.you.know.what, but if you do, it's your choice. And I added two new banners!
That's it for now! I'm hoping to get up a page about Mitsukake and Chichiri later, and a page about the "cute fuzzy thing" in a lot of anime (like Tama-Neko, Chu-Chu, Ryhoki, Kero-chan, Mokona, etc.) Ja ne!

Sorry for the delay in updating, I've been hoping to update once a month but I ran overtime because of too many things happening. I've redesigned the format slightly, adding the little Neko on the side as a vertical bar, and adding small menus on the top of each page for easier navigation. Since I also have Manga 17 and 18, I have been able to scan in some of those pictures which I've added to the image gallery. I redesigned the image gallery, but moved all credits for pictures to the policy page, since they looked rather unwieldy. I also redid the information on Tama-Neko and added Tama-Neko's tour, which gives a summary of FY.

Had some extra time this week what with Spring Break and all, so I made up a few new pictures. The new grey embossed background of Tama-Neko, the mail me! picture, and the guestbook sign/view picture, all using images from the image galleries. ::smile::
Also added a counter from the Ultimate Counter. I set it to start at 15 because that's the amount of folks who've signed my guestbook. ;)
Neko.Net is now a part of the FYML web ring. So...basically facial changes without actual data changes.

Oops...ran over that monthly update thing, mostly because my computer was not hooked up so I could upload everything. However, I got some fanart from a friend, added a few new pictures to the manga image gallery, and changed all the banners. They were simply too big. I sized them down, made them simpler and smaller. I'm hoping to put up some stuff on the Tama-Neko/Chichiri/Tasuki Cosplay that was at Animazement in the next update.

Added new fanart to Neko.Fan into the "Too Many Nekos" section which has Tama-Neko dressing up as various characters.

I redid the entire layout and moved Neko.Net to its own directory. What a promotion! A new background, and new banner graphics to make the whole place a lot more Neko-y. Also changed several sections, added some new ones, and updated some. What's to come: My friend has some new Tama-Neko pictures, so those should be coming up soon.

Neko.Net is now a part of the Suzaku no Web Ring! Huzzah! Also added "Hero Cat", a Tama-Neko fic I wrote! Changed the format of the image galleries, got rid of the tables and have the pictures just going down the line. I'm no good with tables. Sigh. But I added the information of picture size to the text lists.
